A brief overview
Sébastien Jallet has a rather scientific profile. After the preparatory classes for the grandes écoles, he joined ENSAE, then completed his course with a DEA in probability and finance at the University of Paris 6, directed by Nicole El Karaoui, where he deepened his knowledge of probabilistic modelling applied to the financial markets.
He started his career at a insurance bank company, where he set up asset/liability management, and also became familiar with asset management on behalf of an insurer. Managing and steering the asset allocation of an insurer or reinsurer has been the main guiding of his career. For 30 years, he has managed the bond and diversified portfolios of large insurers such as Generali France, CNP, the insurance companies of the BPCE group, CCR and Arundo Re.
Within the CCR group, he contributed to the management and steering of the allocation of Arundo Re's international and multi-currency assets, the issuance of its inaugural debt, its privatisation (Management presentation, Data Room, BP, etc.) and the transfer of the asset management from CCR to SMABTP.
My main mission is to manage Arundo Re's asset allocation and ensure its proper alignment with liabilities and its implementation.
My mission aims also to follow, understand and challenge the SMABTP teams who manage the assets on a daily basis.
I am very happy to continue to participate in this wonderful entrepreneurial adventure that is Arundo Re. I am honored by the confidence given to me to help improve financial and extra-financial results in the future.
