157 Re: A Gateway to Arundo Re’s underwriting platform

157 Re is an innovative Insurance-Linked Securities platform in the form of a compartmentalized mutual securitization fund validated by the French Regulator (ACPR) and compliant with Solvency II.

Launched in 2019, it is the first ILS governed by French law. Although 157 Re 19 as well as the other vintages since then take the shape of a sidecar, issuance of a catastrophe bond or other types of ILS can also be considered through this platform.

157 Re offers to a selected number of investors an access to Arundo Re’s profitable Natural Catastophe reinsurance portfolio, as well as the benefit of its franchise in the reinsurance market & technical knowledge of natural disasters

157 Re is managed by an independant & first class asset manager, while 157 Re’s operations are supervised by an independant & first class actuarial firm

Investor’s participations is fully collateralized by a cash deposit held in an account managed by the custody bank and invested in authorised investments as defined by the Investment Policy of each Compartment
